We are having a busy but fun winter. We've gotten a lot of snow this winter. David put up the ice rink again this year and it's been a lot of fun as well as a lot of work (for David). We are eagerly looking forward to some more nice cold weather for some good ice. It's been a blast for the kids and their friends. True to form, Jandro and his friends spend hours and hours of their time on the ice playing hockey, while Isa and her friends spend time putting on ice skating performances. Gabito (yes, even he is skating now) plays tag or tries to join in on a little hockey with his big brother.
Isa is in ski club through school this year and loving it! They go on a chartered bus every Friday after school and she really looks forward to it. Jandro is in an indoor soccer league between travel seasons and that has been great. They have continued their undefeated streak and are a strong and talented team. Jandro (who is 7) is playing 9 and 10 year olds and doing very well. His team plays up for their age and are still unbeatable.
